Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of data a website saves on your device. Ogascounty uses a handful of them, all strictly necessary for the shop to work: to keep your bag and to keep you signed in.
We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics, so there is nothing to opt into or out of. Because these items are essential, the law doesn't require your consent for them, but we still want you to know exactly what they are.
What we use
| Name | Type | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| session_id | Cookie | Keeps your bag while you shop as a guest. | 30 days |
| guest_session_id | Browser storage | The same guest identifier, kept in your browser so your bag survives if the cookie is cleared. | Until you clear it or sign out |
| auth_token | Browser storage | Keeps you signed in. Only set when you sign in. | Until you sign out |
| ogascounty-cookie-consent | Browser storage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it doesn’t keep appearing. | Until you clear it |
When you check out, you are taken to Stripe's secure payment page, which sets its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud. They are covered by Stripe's cookie policy.
In the mobile app
The Ogascounty app doesn't use cookies. It keeps the same kind of information, your guest bag identifier, your sign-in and your theme choice, in the app's own storage on your phone. Deleting the app removes it.
Controlling them
You can delete cookies and browser storage in your browser's settings at any time. If you do, your guest bag will be emptied and you will be signed out, but nothing else changes.
Changes
If we ever add cookies that aren't essential, such as analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting them. Questions? Email support@ogascounty.com or read our Privacy Policy.
